We commissioned over 20 short films by early career filmmakers from across the Yorkshire region. Fiolms included Open All Hours by Navdeep Kandola and High Rise.

Blink, The Institute of Physics teamed up with Butlins,to create a unique physics-based adventure for kids that worked for holiday makers across all four sites. Children used their mobile phones to help a stranded alien get home and make their own exciting journeys of scientific discovery.

Anywhereblogs was an initiative for the whole of Manchester, one of the first public, citywide services of its kind in the world. Anywhereblogs enabled mobile phone users to discover and create the secret life of the places and events that mattered to them, while out and about around the city, using text messages and WAP on mobile phone to read the secret life of well known places and add their own feelings about somewhere in the city they cared about

Blink designed a simple system for accessing poems via WAP while waiting at the bus-stop on your way home from work. The bus-stop poems, written by Joan Jobe Smith and Fred Voss of Long Beach, California and Ian MacMillan of South Yorkshire, are the first creative work ever written specifically for mobile internet devices.
